Your Scheduling Permit If ABCC has approved your application, you will be issued a Scheduling Permit in early August. You will be notified by email when the permit is available for you to access/print online. You should verify the information on your Scheduling Permit before scheduling your appointments. Your Scheduling Permit includes the following:
You are strongly encouraged to print your Scheduling Permit at least several days in advance of your scheduled testing appointments to avoid any problems accessing or printing your permit on your scheduled test date. Please contact ABCC immediately at 212-305-3254 if the name on your permit is misspelled or differs from your name as it appears on your identification. Please see Exam Day Procedures for instructions on how to be prepared on test day. Inquiries about your appointments must be directed to Prometric. For current information on the locations of Prometric Test Centers, visit the Prometric website at http://www.prometric.com. Scheduling Your Test Dates You must have your Scheduling Permit before you contact Prometric to schedule your testing appointments. You should contact Prometric as soon as you have the permit. Prometric schedules testing appointments on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner you schedule your appointment, the more likely you will receive your preferred test time and location. You will be required to provide information found only on your Scheduling Permit. When you schedule your appointments, you will receive the following specific information:
After you schedule your testing appointments, you can print a confirmation of your appointments from the Prometric website (http://www.prometric.com). It is highly recommended to confirm your testing appointment information one week before your test dates. The testing window is too narrow to permit rescheduling test appointments, except to change test center location. Any test location changes must be made with Prometric at least five (5) business days prior to the first day of the exam. Test Centers and Testing Conditions Prometric provides computer-based testing services for academic assessment, professional licensure, and certification. Prometric testing centers are set up similarly. This not only helps enhance security, but also provides the same standards for comfort and uniformity for all examinees. Prometric testing centers provide the resources necessary for secure administration of the examination, including video and audio monitoring and recording, and use of digital cameras to record the identity of examinees.
